Some honest questions

Is it really possible to renew culture through the media?  Is mediating truth and reality part of the problem?  Is the postmodern world capable of comprehending truth at all?  What’s really going on in the Universities? Should we watch television shows and movies all the time even if they are good?  Is everyone in the entertainment industry a narcissist?  Are there a lot of great projects in Hollywood waiting to be funded?  Is it really true that there are “high net worth” idealists who would invest millions in the right film?   Are the people “between the coasts” content to watch the world decay around them?  Does what  we do at Amicus Associates matter? Have we all become cheerful nihilists?  Is there any hope?

We don’t have the answers to all of these, but we’re trying to ask the right questions and we’re looking for honest answers.

We’d like to invigorate the cultural conversation, if that’s possible.  We’d like to see creative productions that are profitable, intelligent, challenging, authentic and inclusive.  We would like to see a unified resistance to the prevailing cultural agenda.
